New York City and the East road trip concentrates solely on the northeastern states of the USA and its biggest cities i.e. New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington. Additionally you will visit famous Niagara fall. On the way to Washington the road trip could be extended by seeing the Amish colonies in Pennsylvania. Recommended time for this road trip is about 2 weeks during which you will travel ca. 560 miles. Day 1-2: Boston - where it all began
This is where the American Revolution began. The city finished a huge effort to protect the historical heritage visible in the centuries-old cemeteries, or winding cobbled streets. Boston area is also a mecca for lovers of culture and science, here there are many important universities: Harvard, MIT, University of Massachusetts or Boston University, as well as many world-famous museums of art and history.
Day 3-4: Niagara
Niagara falls, the place where flows two millions of water per second. Powerful, continuous spectacle is even more impressive thanks to facilities that allow you to be in the center of the show. Boats, paths, observation towers and helicopters for those who wants to get as close as possible foamy water curtain. There is a lot of choice. Just enjoy the view!
Day 5-9: New York - The Big Apple
New York is one of the most fascinating cities around the world which boasts about its rich history and at the same time constatnly gazing into the future. They said that everyone will find something for himself; starting of museums, theaters and galleries and ending with unique pubs, fancy clubs and best restaurants. At the end reserve some time to spend it on the beach.
Day 10: Six Flags - the world’s largest theme park
Reserve one day for the 510-acre theme park. It lurs with fourtheen roller costers, safari part and many others what provide you with a unique dose of entertainment you have never before experienced.
Day 11: Philadelphia - city of Brotherly Love
The first capital and the cradle of independence of the USA was haped by seekers of religious freedom, immigrants looking for happiness, greedy industry tycoons and the brilliant Benjamin Franklin. Although the skyscrapers rips the horizon over the city nowadays, the spirit of cultural heritage is still present here and makes Philadelphia one of the most popular tourist destinations in America.
Day 12: Gettysburg
The city of Gettysburg is totally geared towards turists. During the tour it will not be spared even the smallest detail of the battle :) Of course you can abandon the group followed by a guide and on your own handle the area of undulating hills of the battle along with the city streets with its historic houses.
Day 13-14: Washington DC - the American Rome
In summer, it is difficult to endure because of the heat and high humidity, while winter hits by biting cold. Despite this the capital of the US is extremely friendly to tourists. Neoclassical monuments, great museums and wide spaces of Washington embodies the spirit of American idealism. Now it is a truly international city which hosts world-renowned artists and offering untold possibilities for shopping.
