itinerary
City Park in Denver, Colorado
Day 1: Denver
The most european city in America. But on the other hand is well known for Cheyenne Frontier Days - the world's largest rodeo festival - typical American event.
Day 2: Ghost towns in Colorado
Have a unique chance to feel like living in late XIX century during Gold rush times. Visit completly deserted towns which a long time ago were the goal of most of the gold diggers.
Delicate Arch, Arches National Park, Utah
Day 3: Dead Horse Point, Arches NP
Start the day by a visit in From the prominence of Dead Horse Point, 2,000 feet above a gooseneck in the Colorado River, an ever changing landscape unfurls. Immense vertical cliffs meet with canyons carved by ice, water and wind creating a visual masterpiece. And later reserve the time for Arches NP and discover a landscape of contrasting colors, landforms and textures unlike any other in the world. The park has over 2,000 natural stone arches, in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks. This red rock wonderland will amaze you with its formations, refresh you with its trails, and inspire you with its sunsets.
Day 4: Canyonlands NP
Canyonlands invites you to explore a wilderness of countless canyons and fantastically formed buttes carved by the Colorado River and its tributaries. Rivers divide the park into four districts: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the rivers themselves. These areas share a primitive desert atmosphere, but each offers different opportunities for sightseeing and adventure.
Monument Valley
Day 5: Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe bend, Monument Valley
Exploring a narrow gaps of Antelope Canyon in the morning, and continuing the day with picturesque Horseshoes bend and later with Monument Valley Park where you are experiencing one of the most majestic - and most photographed - points on earth.
Day 6: Bryce Canyon - Hoodoos and forest mixed together, and Kodachrome Basin
'There is no place quite like Bryce Canyon. Hoodoos (odd-shaped pillars of rock left standing from the forces of erosion) can be found on every continent, but here is the archetypal "hoodoo-iferous" terrain. Descriptions fail. Cave without a roof? Forest of stone? Even photographs strain credulity.'
On the other hand the beeing in Kodachrome Basin you will have a chance to see how the rocks glitter orange, crimson and mauve colors.
Grand Canyon, north rim
Day 7: Grand Canyon - north rim
Reserve one day to see Grand Canyon the 'unique combinations of geologic color and erosional forms decorate a canyon that is 277 river miles (446km) long, up to 18 miles (29km) wide, and a mile (1.6km) deep. Grand Canyon overwhelms our senses through its immense size.' If you have still some time make a quick visit to Cedar Breaks National Monument or Coral Pink Sand Dunes SP.
Day 8: Zion NP, Cedar Breaks
'Follow the paths where ancient native people and pioneers walked. Gaze up at massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink, and red that soar into a brilliant blue sky. Experience wilderness in a narrow slot canyon. Zion’s unique array of plants and animals will enchant you as you absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of present day adventures.'
Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, utah

'Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.'
Yellowstone National park, Wyoming
Day 11-12: Yellowstone - World's Greatest Concentration of Geysers
'It's Wonderland. Old Faithful and the majority of the world's geysers are preserved here. They are the main reason the park was established in 1872 as America's first national park—an idea that spread worldwide. A mountain wilderness, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of bison and elk, the park is the core of one of the last, nearly intact ecosystems in the Earth’s temperate zone.'
Day 13: Devils Tower
'An astounding geologic feature that protrudes out of the rolling prairie surrounding the Black Hills. This site is considered Sacred to the Lakota and other tribes that have a connection to the area. Hundreds of parallel cracks make it one of the finest traditional crack climbing areas in North America.'
Mount Rushmore National Memorial, South Dakota

'The rugged beauty of the Badlands draws visitors from around the world. These striking geologic deposits contain one of the world’s richest fossil beds. Ancient mammals such as the rhino, horse, and saber-toothed cat once roamed here. The park’s 244,000 acres protect an expanse of mixed-grass prairie where bison, bighorn sheep, prairie dogs, and black-footed ferrets live today.'
